Some people have a foolish way of not minding, or pretending not to mind, what they eat. For my part, I mind my belly very studiously, and very carefully; for I look upon it, that he who does not mind his belly will hardly mind anything else.
Samuel Johnson

2 Peter 1:5-6

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

Some medications can ouch your pouch!

Medications to avoid:

NSAIDs or Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – these block cox-1 and lead to bleeding and ulcers. NSAIDs inhibit the ability for the stomach to protect itself. The stomach has 3 ways of shielding itself from the digestive juices. Mucus that coats the stomach, an chemical to neutralize the digestive juices, and circulation of blood to the lining to enhance repair. NSAIDS thwarts all of these defensive devices.

The most common forms of NSAIDs are: Ibuprophen, Naproxen, and Nabumetone. But also include:  Diclofenac, Diflunisal, Etodolac, Fenoprofen, Floctafenine, Flurbiprofen, Indomethacin, Ketoprofen, Meclofenamate, Mefenamic Acid, Meloxicam, Oxaprozin, Phenylbutazone, Piroxicam,  Sulindac, Tenoxicam, Tiaprofenic Acid, and Tolmetin.  Here are the common names of medications you will find that are NSAIDs:
